The
National
Center for Victims of Crime 2010 National Conference, in
conjunction with the National Crime Victim Bar Association Conference,
will be held September
14-16, 2010 at the Hilton New Orleans Riverside, (Two
Poydras Street,
New Orleans, Louisiana).
This year's conference is co-hosted by the New
Orleans Family Justice Center, the Metropolitan Center for Women and Children, and
the Louisiana Foundation Against Sexual Assault. The conference will bring
together victim service providers and advocates, law enforcement
officials, researchers, educators, and allied professionals from around
the country to share best practices, forge new collaborations, and enhance
resources, policies, and services for crime victims. Early Bird
Registration opens March 15, 2010.
Request for Proposals to Present:
The National
Center for Victims of Crime is
seeking workshop presenters for its National Conference, to be held
September 14-16, 2010, at the Hilton New Orleans Riverside, in New Orleans Louisiana. Conference workshop proposals
are solicited in a wide range of topics to be scheduled for either 90
minutes (1.5 hours) or 180 minutes (3 hours) in length. This year all
conference presentations will be made fully accessible. See REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS for full
description of requirements and proposal form. Completed proposals are due
March 15, 2010.
Our 2010 National Conference emphasizes
a multidisciplinary approach to sharing promising practices, current
research, and effective programs and policies that are
victim-centered,
practice-based, and research-informed.
