National Center for Victims of Crime has launched an initiative designed to help
crime victims and victim-serving professionals better understand the role of
forensic DNA in criminal investigations. This initiative, which includes new
educational material, research, and training, is also designed to help law
enforcement officers interact effectively with victims on cases that involve
