Hurricane Crime Victim Assistance

In the aftermath of devastating hurricanes that require temporary and sometimes permanent relocations, individuals may become more vulnerable to crime.

The National Center for Victims of Crime provides information and resources for victims of crime and service providers. Wherever you are, we can also help you find support through our nationwide network of more than 8,700 local community victim assistance agencies. Please call us at 1-800-FYI-CALL (we serve victims in more than 150 languages) or e-mail gethelp@ncvc.org for more information.

For Donors

To make sure your donations reach agencies that help victims, avoid the scams and frauds that law enforcement agencies have identified in the aftermath of the hurricane.
