The chilling account of the stalking of Marta Bradley [Obsession," February 3] underscores the all too common challenges victims face when confronted by a stalker.
One out of 12 women will be stalked during their lifetime, but often the initial signs of stalking are ignored. Victims' fears are dismissed or trivialized. Critical information is not shared among law enforcement agencies. We all must focus on the real dangers stalkers pose, regardless of how subtle the threats.
