§ 2.65.
Stalking.
A. A person is guilty of stalking if
he intentionally or knowingly engages in conduct directed against another person
which would cause a reasonable person to either:
(1) Fear for his own safety of his
immediate family; or
(2) Fear for imminent physical injury
or death to his person or his immediate family.
B. "Conduct" under this Section means
maintaining visual or physical proximity to a specific person or directing
verbal or written threats, whether express or implied, to a specific person on
two or more occasions over a period of time, however short, not including
constitutionally protected activity.
C. A person found guilty under this
Section may be sentenced to imprisonment for a period not to exceed One Hundred
Eighty (180) days or to pay a fine not to exceed Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00),
or both.
